F.A.Q.

  • The purpose of the For The One campaign is to engage our entire church in a generosity initiative to accomplish all we can For The One true God and For The One who does not yet know Him. Our God is a generous God. As we draw closer to Him, we should also have a heart for generosity.

  • Our financial stretch goal is $15 million, and raising this amount of money will require 100% participation from our church members. We trust a God who can do immeasurable more than we can ask or imagine, and a God that owns cattle on a thousand hills!

  • The simple answer: because the mission of Jesus requires it! We have tremendous opportunities to impact our local community in greater ways by opening the doors of our new facility throughout the week to serve people that need to know & experience His love. Jesus calls every one of us to make His mission our way of life, which requires every person at FM to be trained in how to share the Gospel, how to teach others to follow Jesus, how to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and how to live generously on a daily basis. By taking hold of these opportunities now, we expect to make a bigger Kingdom impact than ever before.

  • The For The One Generosity Initiative will begin in April 2024 with the goal of breaking ground in the spring of 2025 and go through July 2026.

  • Yes! They must be! Our normal operating expenses must continue to be met by your faithful support through regular tithes to continue to accomplish the ministry God has for us. These over and above gifts will allow us to accomplish the goals of the For The One Campaign.

  • Fellowship of Montgomery is averaging 12% growth for 1st quarter, which is higher than average.

Most weeks, attendance is 100-150 more than last year, using every single room on Wednesdays and Sundays.

  • Commitment Sunday will be Sunday, May 5, 2024, but for those ready we will have a special time of bringing commitments at our Advanced Commitment Gathering on April 21st at 6:30pm

  • On Commitment Sunday, May 5th, we will worship, celebrate, and pray over what God has planned for the coming years at Fellowship of Montgomery. We will ask our entire church, 100%, to participate by committing to give financially to the For The One Campaign. We ask that everyone submit their For The One commitment card on this day at the end of each worship service. Your first fruits Sunday with your initial offering will be brought two Sunday later on May 19th.

  • Absolutely. If this is the case, please email Karen@thefmchurch.com for further assistance.

  • We will make public and celebrate the total 3 year commitment given by the entire church. Personal financial commitments will NOT be made public or shared in any way.

  • Absolutely. We understand that life circumstances can shift our ability to give generously in negative and positive ways. If you need to change your commitment, please email Karen@thefmchurch.com

  • The study averages about three occupants per household. The projected growth for the Montgomery community is close to 40000 moving into the area.

It is projected that the area surrounding Fellowship of Montgomery is going to see some of the fastest growth in the area with close to 2000 new homes being built within 5 to 10 miles of the church.
